In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are closing all local school playgrounds until further notice. Public access will not be allowed during this time. Beginning today, March 25th, Facilities and Operations will be putting out signage and cordoning off the playground equipment with caution tape at all of our schools that have playground equipment.
This decision is aligned to the decision made by our municipal partners (Dekalb County Government and other city governments). The Dekalb County Government and the governing body of local city municipalities within DeKalb have closed their playgrounds and parks in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
